Our story

When I completed high school, the two jobs I was interested in pursuing was being an art teacher or working in a retail store. After a short stint in art school, I realised that it just wasn’t for me. And so at the age of eighteen I embarked on what has been twenty plus years in the retail industry. Along with retail, I always held a love for being creative and making things. Whether it be drawing, painting or handicrafts, there was always a natural pull to create in some way shape or form. In 2024, I enrolled in a career change course in floristry and I felt like everything I had learned in my many creative expressions and career choices had amalgamated into what “KB Floral Studio,” is today.

This business is a testament to all I have learnt and all that has been there before. It is built on respect, integrity and the love I have for all. It’s a celebration and a deep joy to work with flowers on a daily basis. How could you not love the beauty, richness and vibrancy that flower’s enrich our lives with everyday?

Picked with care

At KB Floral Studio our motto is “ the love in the details,” and so every detail is paramount to the whole process and rhythm of our business. We love the little things that go into co-creating a beautiful bouquet or posy jar. No two arrangements are ever the same, each bouquet, posy jar or vase is made bespoke for you, including the colour of ribbon used and handwritten notecard. Every detail matters.

To coincide with our eco-conscious and seasonal values, we strive to be as responsible and environmentally minded as possible. We use kraft brown paper to wrap our bouquets, beautiful ribbon that can be re-used and or re-purposed for another occasion and glass jars that can be recycled or used again. Our green waste is recycled and our plastic flower wraps are taken to local flower wholesalers, to be recycled too.

All deliveries are made by Kelly and kept local to keep our floral imprint small and to provide beautiful fresh flowers and gifts for any occasion. Just the way we like it!
